What should I do when my parents want me to take a class I don't want/need to take?
-
At my school there are 7 periods, but there are 2 "classes" that only require you to take 6, Early Release, and Late Arrival. I have all my credits I need to graduate, except the 2 classes only Seniors can take, but my parents want me to take an extra year of French, and ditch my Early Release even though they know I hate it, and besides me they'll be 1 other person in the class. In college I plan to take Spanish, but they're not to thrilled about that.

there seems to be more than you are telling us to this story. however if you don't want to take french I suggest you tell them that you just arent going to and see what happens. Maybe if you stand up to them they will back down
