Do you think 14 is a good age to start working?

What was you doing at the age 14?

  • How are are you supposed to be at 14..? Like ive had a really good childhood that all kids/start of teens should have.. :) But I think I just caught the last of it ( I was in 1997) So I got the last bit of the goods, including early 00s which make me a better person & grow up right :) I got MSN when I was 10 FB when I was 11 & a cellphone when I was 12, (not to bad right?) by working, know I got a new phone bc ive been working these years, helping my dad. (50$/montly) I'm in the middle of saving to go visit my other family in the states.(lisence and car first, planning on after I graduate) So yea kids nowadays have cellphones/ipods/laptops/FB/boyfriend/gi… brandname stuff/makeup/ect at the age of TEN! Like there childhoods ruined!!?? Feeling bad for them... :( So yea all this new stuffs got me lost and confused. What was you like at the age 14?(Tell me your age or DOB year tho please) Thanks for answering in advance and there will be a 'best' answer choose... :) But THANKS ALL ANSWERS atleast ya get 2 points for answering :)

    I was born in 1988. I am 23 years old. When i was 14 i had an old beat up walk man i didn't have a cell phone at all....i got a crappy flip phone at the age of 17. I didn't have facebook or myspace untill i was 18. My childhood didn't include the computer or anything like that i grew up in the early 90s playing outside and pretending untill i passed out from exhaustion. My childhood ruled.

**** at 14 i was working on an farm during harvest time and the rest of the year on a ranch. i did not have a computer or phone or anything like that. I worked 14 hours a day and maybe made 40 bucks a day. I moved around all the time cause i had no dad and my mom was an addict and prostitute. I worked what ever i could to get money so i would stay out of foster care. I finished high school with all the other migrant kids, who i would teach english to and they would teach me spanish. went to college and now i work my as* off but for more money. At 14 i was a grown up with nothing. The kids today are spoiled little brats.

at age 14 i have an ipod, cell phone, friends, bestfriends, boyfriends, tv, a half decent amount of liberty like my mom sorta lets me go out, facebook, tumblr, ( follow me cheesecakex3.tumblr.com ) , clothes, shoues, i have a bed, a home, food, & fun (: lol thats my life heheh i feel like im lucky cause SOME kids dont have this but some kids have more . & i just read what others said & wow you guys seemd to have fun by being outside and playing in the 90's im from year '97 i dont think that counts does it?
