How to get facebook at school on ipod touch?

Laptop, PS3 or Ipod touch for 9th Birthday?

  • so i've decided i'm not buying her toys this year as she has far to many, I thought maybe a gadget would be a good idea but unsure which one? First I thought PS3 but we already have 2 Wii's an Xbox 360, 3 dsi's and a ps2 which we have accumilated over the years! Ipod touch? I have an Iphone and I bought my son one for xmas, my daughter is always stealing them to play on Laptop, altough we already have 3 laptops and a pc, only one works for gaming, facebook etc which my daughter loves to play on, unfortunatly the other 6 people living here want it for the same thing. I also thought it would be good for school/learning etc I was planning on selling the one Wii, 2 Dsi's, one old laptop to pay for the present :) I just cant make up my mind, my friends think crazy but I honestly dont know what else to get her

You know her better than I. But to be safe I would buy the laptop assuming she doesn't have one of her own. Anything can play music nowadays including the laptop. And the PS3 is an acquired taste in gadget I mean does she like gaming a lot to get the money's worth out of nearly £200. So yeah laptop. But for a 9 year old are you sure your digging the right hole here. Why not take her out somewhere. What I'm saying is 1 does she know how to use it 2 what would she get out of it. She can't really join social sites. 3 will she not break it.

I think she has enough! Why not get her clothes or something less expensive and something less breakable. Maybe something she needs for an after school club. I got a gymnastics leotard last birthday.
