Can you get in trouble for prank calling someone if they call back threating you??

  • Me and my brother prank called this women and we made monkey noises and she got really angry so she called us back saying that she wanted to know where we lived and she wanted to beat us up.so we stoped calling but she just kept calling back.eventually i picked up the phone and told her that i was sorry we called and she needed to stop calling us.So a couple weeks later my brother dialed the number to scare the crap out of me ( because that women was crazy and calling me a ***** and everything) so it rang once and then he hung up.The next day i slep on the couch and got a call with just someone calling me a ***** i ignored it and she called back saying that she would cut off my face and my mothers,she also claimed she would stick a knife up my you know what and twist.I asked who the heck was calling and she told me it was the women that we had prank called before.She said that someone had prank called her the day before and she thought it was us so she called the police and sent a case

    If that's true... NO, YOU can't get into trouble. One prank call does not constitute harassment according to the law. This woman calling you back is the harassment. She is the one threatening. You should tell your parents. Don't worry if she lies. The phone records would prove the truth.

stay the hell away from her, stop calling her. If she keeps calling you everytime she gets a prank call(if its not you who did it) tell her that youll call the police for harassment and tell the cops the graphic threats shes been making.

First of all, prank calling is a one moment laugh. But a lot of idiots out there consider it harressment because they are angry, stressed people. So stop the calling And report her threats because they are just as bad

Honey, you're just kids and no one (not even an adult) has the right to talk to you like that. If she does it again....immediately call 911 and say there is a lady that keeps calling and saying mean things to you on the phone and she won't stop. There is a thing called phone harrassment. Yes, you guys were wrong by calling and bothering her, but she is a grown woman she should not be saying awful things to children. You appologized, now it is time for her to grow up.
