Chemistry Challenge?

Who do you choose? sensible/familiar or chemistry and a little more of a challenge?

• I feel like I'm at a crossroads. I still talk to a man I had an 8 year relationship with, Platonic of course. However, I have been in a relationship with another man for 4 years. There was about 6 months in between the two. Both are very down to earth types of fellows and both are successful. With the first, we have a very strong bond because in many ways we grew up with each other and know each others families. With the second, we have wonderful chemistry, not quite as much in common, but more of a spark. So I guess after all of these details, my question is, do you marry someone who is more like your best friend and someone who knows you inside and out or do you marry someone that you are connected to but more in a physical and fun kind of way. I guess what I mean is that with the first, there is a sense of a past where with the second there is more of a mystery about the future. I'm not sure if I made sense but anyone who can weigh in with some observations or advice, please do.

  I married my best friend and we still have a lot of chemistry together. Life is never boring for the two of us.
