Help! Need birthday gift ideas for a male friend?

  • Hey there! I have been really stuck up and can't figure out what to gift to this close friend of mine, who is turning 19 day after tomorrow. He is a really sweet friend of mine and has stood by me through thick n thin. And its time for me to pay back as happiness as i can on his birthday .I really want to gift him something that makes him remind me of me even if we aint togther in the future. But the problem is i have never gifted any guy bfore n i don't know what to gift him since a tie or a wallet or a watch would appear really formal. Since its his 19th birthday, i was thinking to gift him 19 small cute gifts, yet the thing is m running short of money. :( Moreover i don't have any of his or our pictures so that i could make a scrapfile or something like that . Help me people please thanks

    if he is sweet then a hand made card would do the best, if you think it's not sufficient, try out things like quality time with him or if you don't mind a buddy-to-buddy hug which is full of love.. this would be great, you can even take him to a place he likes, like bowling or some movie i guess.. and sure if you are too frank then tell him "i have this much money, let's go shopping.. you can take anything and this amount is my budget" hahaha that would be cute, i have been doing this with my best friend since 2 years and she doesn't mind (thank god) :P good luck :)

if he plays any sports get him some gear...like basketball, football, studs or shoes, or you can start taking pictures now and collect some more from his friends and make a flipbook. or you can just give him something handmade...im a guy and i love it when a girl gives me handmade stuff. it shows how much effort and thought she's put into it. that's what matters to me :)

Giving 19 gifts is a good idea but then due to ur budget restraint things will be of lesser value. I feel you should give him one thing which he will treasure in future also.Spend whole amount on one thing. U could give him a wallet,tie,perfume or anything which interests him.(tht you can only judge as u know him the best).If u r not sure then a gift voucher is a quite safe option Best of luck !!! :)

Gift him a gift card for an amount you can afford...A Visa or MasterCard gift card can be used anywhere. If he really wants to remember you, he will get something that reminds him of you. If not, well, he'll probably use it for beer and pizza.

I think the idea of 19 SMALL gifts is good. If you have limited resources, get little gifts.
