How can I get my mom to pay attention to me?

How do i get my mom to pay more attention to me :(?

• Ok so im 13 years old and my mom is really busy working. she is always on the phone or texting and i guess she cant multitask because whenever i try talking to her she doesnt listen. whenever she looks at me she tells me to do something like walk the dog or feed my cat or she tells me to get her a soda. sometimes i even yell at her or get into fights with my brother just so she will pay a little attention to me, even if she is grounding me. i can pretty much get away with anything because she only pays some attention to my brother and he is older than me. i try everything to get a little bit of attention but it never works. some people like it when there mom lets them get away with things like dating a guy or girl much older but i want her to just bust me on something like anything. i don't care how i get the attention i just wanna get it so bad! she may have some good reason for not paying any attention to me but i don't think it is that good. i wish she would just come and talk to me about something embarrassing or not. if anyone has any idea on how i can get her attention then speak freely. i am a growing girl who sometimes wants her mother to talk to her about her problems and trust me i have many of them just please help. if i have to get into some trouble to make it work so be it.

  Well, first of all, I don't think getting into trouble is a good way of trying to talk to your mom. Maybe you should ask her to take a bit of time to listen to you, and that you want her to listen to what you have to say. I'm not sure what else to say, but I like that you want to actually talk with your mother - most people don't. But if that doesn't grab her attention, just don't try getting into trouble a lot, it's a bit more stressful for her if your trying to get her attention by causing trouble.
