How do I know if this guy likes me?

• So this guy In my class texts me and says he likes me but like we dont know eachother really. He says hes not a player but it kind of seems like it. I like him too but I'm shy around him so he doesnt really know the real me. When I talk to him I just ask him random questions about himself because thats all that comes to mind but he doesnt really ask any about me and stuff. I text him but he takes like an hour to reply. He's really sweet and nice and funny but i dont know if hes just desparate or what because at times he seems like he likes me then other times it seems like im annoying so I ask him if I should go or stop texting him and he will say no I love talking to you. But then he stops in awhile. I really like him? what do I do? How do I talk to him? How do I know if he actually likes me? hes confusing... :/

  Sounds like my situation, I think you should just beleive that he is not a player, dont assume something. He may be taking awhile to respond because he's busy, maybe stuyding hw, tv, friends, millions of stuff could be the reason. If he texts u that he likes you he probably does like you guys dont say that stuff just for fun, just continuing doing what your doing and eventually he will ask you out, good luck!
