What are the chances of a friend moving back home after college?

• My best friend is going to be moving away for college next year. He is going to major in Physical Therapy. He does not have to move away for college because he was also accepted at a university that is close to our area, but he said he wants to get out of the area for college? I am really worried that it will be the end of our friendship once he moves away. We won't see each other much for 5 or 6 years except during the few breaks that he will have because of his major, and he'll probably be doing his internship in this area at the medical facility where he works now. What are the chances that he will move back home after college and possibly find a job in this area? And does completing your internship at the medical facility where you work before college improve your chances of getting a job there after college? Thanks.

  Its really gonna be his choice. Wherever he does his internship..it will really have no bearing where he gets a job. But maybe he will meet someone or make new friends and want to stay...who knows. U gotta respect his choice and maybe go visit him once and a while and remind him how much he's missed back home so he won't forget.
