How can I become an event-coordinator?

She says that she only sees me as a friend. How can I get her to become my girlfriend?A bit long?

• Hi, so I'm a 15 year old guy who has a crush on my 16-17 year old female friend of the same grade (I'm the youngest in Grade 10) and through pressure from my best friend, I asked her if she'd like to go to the dance with me on Facebook Chat as I can rarely find her alone and I'm a pretty shy person. Her is a Copy-Paste of her response: "thaanks for asking maybe ill dancewith you or something but i think ill go with some friends" Does this mean a Yes, No, Maybe, or We'll see when we get there? Also, I've known her quite some time, and just last week, without my knowledge, my best friend told her that I liked her through MSN and she told him that she only sees me as a friend. :( Yeah, does that mean I'm doomed to just "be friends" or can I fix that and have her become my girlfriend within a month and half's time? Some things you should know: - I barely see her anymore in the school hallways as she has different classes as me. - We have a few mutual friends including my best friend but I barely hang out with the rest of those mutual friends anymore as they seem to have wandered on their own ways. - Her social skills are a lot better than mine (I'm pretty shy) - her over 800 FB friends vs my 250 - I'm a pretty shy guy, and ever since I realized that I liked her, I can't talk to her properly anymore and I start getting nervous. - She thinks of me as a noble and caring person (I told her that my dream was to become a police detective and that I'm a charitable person, and I've been faced with danger multiple times (I used to live in Hong Kong, LA, and Newark but now live and was born in Toronto) - She has a younger teenaged brother who cares about her a lot. I have a younger sister who wants to kill me. - I want her to become my girlfriend, especially during the summertime as I can actually go out. Yeah, so please tell me what she meant by "thaanks for asking maybe ill dancewith you or something but i think ill go with some friends" and how I can get her to become my girlfriend. Also, now that "Track and Field" season is over for me (didn't qualify for finals while she and my best friend did), how else can I be able to talk to her (preferably alone, as it would be pretty awkward trying to talk to her in front of her friends, who most do not know me) Thanks

  Okay so hey I'm a girl an u seem super nice but hey she obviously cares u if she let u down nicely not that she let u down but good news is she will dance with u but to get a girls attention is too compliment them and just have a nice conversation don't go HEY WANNA STUDY just be calm and don't be clingy girls hate that!! And then if she starts to get agitated which I don't think she will but if she does give get 2 days and if u have her number text her and ask how she is feeling and just be a nice relaxed respectful gentlmen just slowy become a guy she WANTS to hang around hopes his help :)
