Where can i find a pen-pal?

I am in need of an e-pal for my Psychology project. I don't trust pen-pal websites (looks shady) and the ones that look even somewhat decent require a fee. Can anyone suggest legitimate websites? Thanks again, guys.

ppi.searchy.net is pretty good, but ehh it gets slow sometimes. Why don't you ask if people on Y!A want to be your pen pal? lol
