How to install USB Drivers from USB flash drive?

How could i install Windows 7, Windows vista, Windows xp from USB Flash Drive?

  • One of my friends reset my computer with his flash drive and updated it to windows 7, he plugged it in and a list of Windows would come up like, Windows Ultimate, Windows 7 Professional etc, i have been looking around all day on how to do this, any information will be helpful, or any downloads, i have a 4GB flash drive. Thanks!

  • Answer:

First of all, those operating systems won't ever fit on a 4GB Flash Drive. Second is that you need an OP to be able to use the Flash Drive on the computer. The only way i could think it might work is that if the only file on the USB is windows and that you go into boot settings and boot from USB. Start computer>Hold Down F8>Select a Boot Disc If that won't work then there is no possible way.

First you need to make your USB DRive bootable. Here is a great link to show you how to do this. http://www.bootdisk.com/pendrive.htm I do not believe your USB Falsh Drive will be large enough to hold more than one OS at a time. You may need get one larger, say a 16gb. Good Luck And Enjoy Joe The Old Computer Guy PS: Please remember to vote for the best answer.
