Is there a way i could make my voice stronger?

How can I make my voice on its way to coming back?

• I noticed it going away yesterday. And today, it's basically gone. There's no reason that I can think of for it to be gone. I can't even try to talk. I've tried the hot tea and honey thing, and that does help, I'm just running out of honey. I'm really frustrated and miserable. What can I do to speed up the healing, and about how long will it take for my voice to come back if anyone knows? Also, I don't know where to categorize this question at, so I'm sorry.

  I'm no expert but I have seen cases where laughing a LOT, talking too much, and screaming/hollering (like at a concert) can cause you to lose your voice. The vocal cords get stressed and stretched from overworking. Usually it's temporary, but can become permanent and alter your voice givin it a manish undertone. There are no meds for it. Since it's gone completely, then resting them COMPLETELY will speed up the healing. Most likely they are inflamed and talking will make them hurt, might cause more damage. No talking AT ALL for the next few (3) days, starting now. If you can get to a doctor do so, but not right away. Jumping the gun and going can cost you and it might resolve itself in a few days. Yes, it is an inconvenince. It sucks it happened. Think of the people who can't talk at all, peramently? Work around it. Yes the honey can help. Tea has caffine in it, not the best for inflammed vocal cords. Inflammation is good though; it localizes the damaged area and increases blood flow; more blood more healing=faster healing time, hopefully. You might get impatient, but you don't want to permanently damage them. If you have a family member who can call the doctor and speak for you then you could get some advice before you go in for an appointment. I hope you get better soon.
