Iron Deficiency Anemia Question?

  • I have had iron deficiency anemia for a few years now, and i have to keep takin iron pills everyday. I HATE PILLS! i hate taking any kind of pill. and my iron levels decrease when i dont take the iron pills and i fill like crap. is there some kind of cure for this anemia? What happens if i just completely stop taking the pills?

    you will get dizzy then pass out. They have a liquid kind but its nasty but if you really hate pills ask your doctor about the liquid kind. But no theres no cure :(...but on the bright side if you eat foods that are full of iron (shhh this is a secret dont tell)then you can skip a few days! Seriously though

so do I. I do not know how old you are but, talk to mom and dad. or if you are an adult there are natural alternative's too taking drug's. I too used to take pill's for the same thing. I'm fine now, and I no longer take them. I use homeopathic's and herb's. go through the yellow book and look up (doctor's of herbatology). or go too the health food store in your area, tell the lady you're looking for (iron alternatives for anemia). look for the paraphanelia in reference too your condition.never stop taking medication without a doctor's approval. these will work even better for you because unlike drugs,they do not destroy your body or make you sick over a period of time.
