Is it normal that my stomach is swollen?

Can anyone help me with these symptoms: swollen stomach, hips and neck?

  • I lost 12 pounds in a month and looked scarily thin, so I began over eating to try and put the pounds back on. I'm now eating normally, but the bloating/swollen stomach hasn't gone down. My stomach is sore to touch, as is my neck, hips and under my arms, which are also swollen. I've had slight shortness of breath and nausea...I also haven't had a period since April. (I'm not sexually active). Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me, or how to get my embarrassingly swollen stomach to go away? Thanks, any help greatly appreciated :)

  • Answer:

Keep away from sodium. Drink water to flush out the bloating.
