Acid reflux or will i get sick?

well i have acid reflux and ive been getting nausea with it lately. ive had it reallly bad for about 5 hours now and it wont go away. i tried tums and pepto bismol but i still feel so nauseated like im gonna get sick! i didnt throw up and my mouth taste like vomit :/ i could really taste it while brushing my teeth. do you think im gonna throw up or is it due to my acid reflux? and will chewing gum help it or make it worse

hey I'm not to sure and chewing gum it might make you more upset.. Although peppermint soothes the stomach.. I KNO this is sorta off topic but has to do with acid reflux.. Have you seen a doctor about it? I ask because if you notice it and have it alot you might want to monitor it.. My father had acid reflux and because he was not put on meds right away for it; it cause other problems like asafagus cancer.. Can't spell but look it up.. It errods the lining after time.. Be care and get check he passed away after only 7 years of it..

I would not chew the gum and maybe eat smaller meals. Did you try alka-seltzer or mylanta after eating? Zantac from what I understand is an allergy medication, and it is also acid causing.
