Why do I randomly have shortness of breath?

Why do pain tablets give me shortness of breath?

  • I don't have asthma or anything like that. I can take regular tablets like 2 paracetomol or whatever and I'm usually fine, but if I take anything with 'max strength' or 'extra' or whatever, my chest seems to get kinda tight or something, and I get shortness of breath. I have a painful ear infection right now and the pharmacist told me to take 2 nurofen AND 2 paracetomal at the same time to tackle both the pain and the inflamation, and now i'm noticing I have the shortness of breath. I mentioned it to my doctor ages ago and he said something about my body not processing caffeine very fast or something, but he's a crap doctor who was recently in court for removing someones mole and 'forgetting' to send it off for examination, and the person died of cancer a while after..... So as you can guess I wouldn't have much faith in what he has to say =/ Does anyone know what this could be? I just hope its nothing to worry about.
