How harder is getting into medical school compared to being accepted to a physician assistant program?

How likely is it that I'll get accepted into a Physician Assistant Program?

  • I just started my third year of undergrad with a cumulative g.p.a. of a 3.448 after two years. I'm planning on completing a certified nursing assistant program this winter break to become a CNA. I'm hoping I can gain experience in the health-care field with direct-patient-contact as a CNA. I was wondering if I'd be a good candidate for PA school and what else I can do to increase my chances of acceptance? Thanks for your help.

  • Answer:

CNA change sheets, clean up poop and feed folks, hardly great medical experience but hey if that's what you want. I better question is is your bachelors degree one that is going to be a plus in applying to PA schools??
