Is this a Stomach Virus?

There's a stomach virus going around school, please help answer this question?

• There's a stomach virus going around school, and based on a little bit of research I've been doing, it's called "noro virus" which is the cause for 90% of stomach bugs, including vomiting, diarrhea, etc. The reason I've conducted this research is because I'm an emetophobe, which means I'm afraid of vomit. To be more specific, its more of myself vomiting than others, but both are in effect. I am 13, 7th grade, and I haven't vomited in 7 years because of this phobia, just so you get an idea of how concerned I am. Anyway, this stomach virus is going around. I went to a party on Friday, and 5 of the 23 girls who attended all have this virus, as well as at least 10 students I know of in school, but altogether probably close to 30. Somebody threw up in my science class today and I began shaking and doing what emetophobes do in a scenario like that, heart beating fast... the whole feeling. I am extremely worried about getting the virus, and I was wondering what I could do to prevent it other than washing my hands frequently and maintaining a distance away from those with the virus who just came back after being absent from school.   I'm sorry to hear this, my dad didn't like throwing up, so he got a surgery (I'm not sure what it's called) but they make it so you cant throw up. I don't know if this is something you've heard of. Also you're so young, I don't know if you would want a surgery or if your parents would let you, but yeah. I hope this helps.
