What to wear on the first day of 7th grade ?

  • ahh i need helpp ! what should i wear on the first day of seventh grade ? i live in austin, texas so its pretty hott. i like abercrombie and hollister and stuff, but i dont wanna be wearing that on the first day of school unless its like jeans or something. i love nordstrom. but i want to wear something...different. unique. i like hippieishh stuff but not super hippie. i dont wanna t shirt bc thats kinda plain. i was thinking jeans or a cute dress, but i really wanna wear something cute since im going to a new school in a new state and stuff so i like forever 21, nordstrom, macys, zumies, delias, heritage, juicy, anythingg cute ! oh and thanks to dress code (ehhh) it has to be like mid thigh for the bottoms and the top has to be like 2 or 3 fingers thickk :/ well, thanks !

    If it's hot where you live, you really can't go wrong with a cute screen tee from zumiez or delias and skinny jeans of any color. Colored skinny jeans are really in right now: maroon, teal, green! However, if it's too hot to be wearing skinny jeans, wear bermuda shorts or a slightly longer top with leggings. :)

A lot of people try too hard on the first couple days of school, and it shows. You want to look effortlessly good. If it were me, I would wear a pair of comfortable jeans (nice ones are the key to not looking ragged) and an especially cute top-- not a normal t shirt or anything. Forever 21 and Delias have inexpensive tops that have patterns/embellishments that make them more exciting. Also, shoes! Don't just wear your old tennis shoes if you can wear cute boots, sandals, etc.

just worry about passing the 7th grade and not what you're going to wear. seriously, if anyone is going to judge you on your clothes, they're not worth it.

i live in austin too haha! middle school...those were the good old days. dont overdress, a pair of jeans and a cute t-shirt is fine. you can wear a pair of skinny jeans and a baby doll top- nordstrom's has cute ones. bermudas from hollister are always cute too. good luck!

jeans and a t shirt with some cool tennis shoes. (you never know what will happen on the first day and you can't fight in a dress.)
