How do you fix a digital watch?

How can I fix my watch?

• I have a pretty nice watch with a slight problem. when i accidentally dropped it over a short balcony it landed face-down on the deck below. luckily it didn't do any visible damage until I discovered it had loosened the little symbol where the number nine on a regular clock would be. this little symbol is now just floating around inside the watch, and I can't get to it to fix it. Is there a way that I can fix this little problem myself? it doesn't seem like it would take that much to fix, but I don't really know how to go about doing it. Also, I don't really want to take it to a jeweler to fix b/c they would probably charge me more than I would be willing to pay.......

  If you're really handy fixing things you might be able to figure out a way, but I would get an estimate first to see how much it would be for a professional to fix it, it may be less than you expect.
