What to wear to an interview?

What to wear for this interview?

• Hi all I'm just wondering what should I wear to this well interview I suppose if you want to call it that. Here's the thing. I was made redundant and was out looking for work but no luck so I went back to college. I've taken a different path in that now I'm doing film studies. All I've ever done is office work but have always been interested in music and film. So now I'm in college doing it. I want to get work experience or an internship to get as much knowledge and hands on practise as possible. I like the pre production, production and post production in film. So I started looking at post production companies and found some and applied. The role was for a runner but I'd thought just send an email anyways and see what happens. I explained in the email that I'm a student looking for work experience or an internship and the company got back to me saying they'd like to meet me. Great I'm thinking. I'm hoping they'll give me an internship. The role I've been told is full time hours and is unpaid and I can't do full time hours as I'm in college full time. My question is should I wear, a nice pair of dark blue jeans with a blouse, black jacket and black shoes you know - semi formal or should I wear an actual suit - formal. If I was having an interview for an office I'd go formal but when I had the interview for the college I'm in now I went semi formal. This is my first time for being in this industry and I want to make a good impression as I'm starting from the bottom and I really want to do this as a career. Thanks.
