What should I wear to a job interview?

What should I wear for my job interview tomorrow?? Advice please!?

  • Tomorrow I have a job interview for a sales associate for Banana Republic. My question is what should I wear? and how should I do my hair? What I was thinking of wearing was either White fancy appropriate top with either black pants and black highheels. or a black skirt with nude nylons and grey high heeled boots. My hair I was thinking either sleek mid high ponytail or should I wear my hair down? Im not sure and I want to look my best. I know my makeup should keep it down and I should look clean,polished and neat. My interviewer said I should dress how I think I would be if I was to be working there already. Advice please Thanks.

I think you should go for the pants, heels and top, but make sure the top is more smart than pretty. A blazer/jacket might look nice too if you have one. And a sleek pony :) Hope you get the job :) :)

First of all,congratulations on getting the interview! I know job interviews can almost always cause a crisis in a girls wardrobe!! I can tell you want to look professinal but sleek and right for the job.If I were you I'd wear a nice blouse,Not to sparkly/glitz & glam is a no go zone,A black mini skirt with black tights,Looking tidy but not tarty, and a pair of brogue heels or any heels that match the blouse without being too high.You don't want to fall over & ladder your tights!! For your hair & makeup I would try to look sleek & clean.Go for a doughnut bun hairdo with any fringe/side fringe tidily to the side (without getting in your eyes).For makeup just go netrual and don't wear to much eyeshadow as glitter down the face isn't attractive! Then maybe take a tidy handbag/briefcase and strut your look! Maybe wear some dangly earrings to give you a mature adult feel. Hope I helped Jess .... ❤
