How do I get my clothing line in retail stores?

Starting a clothing line?

  • i want to start a clothing line, i would like to find a company that can bring my vision to an actual item of clothing. if anyone knows a company that can take my visual in my head come to life. i also want to know what are the steps to having your clothing in stores for sale. basically want to know how do i get a company to manufacter the clothing and how do i get it in the stores. i am in miami fl

Pretty much impossible unless you know someone personally in a company.You could start your own company designing, manufacturing and selling your clothes but it will be very expensive and doubt you'll get a return. Your best bet will be to maybe make your own small internet company selling your clothes, there's a chance you'd get some interest from there. It's a cut throat industry and you'll be against people with fashion degrees and years of experience who have worked their whole lifes and still don't have their own lines. x x x
