Any Fashion designing Books?

I don't know what area of the country you are from so I don't know if this will help but there are several colleges in the Dallas,Texas area that teach fashion designing. The junior college system has some classes and here is the web address for one of the colleges. http://www.wadecollege.edu/content/index.php?page=fashion-design It has a section for you to see the curriculum of the school. If you see an area your interested in look on the internet for books on the subject. Then get the name of the book, who wrote the book, the ISBN and go to your local library. If you are a member you may apply to request books through the inter-library loan system. If your requested book is at any library in the country and it was published over 6 months ago you can check out the book. The time is usually shorter than a regular book check period either 10 - 14 days. Also the fines are very stiff for returning the book late. I did this once and it cost me $5.00 per book per day. A great book I found was called "200 Projects to Get You Into Fashion Design" by Tracy Fitzgerald and Adrian Grandon. Also, if you search "fashion design" on your local library's website, you will probably find great resources there as well. Good luck!
