How to get rid of a lisp WITHOT THERAPY?

I just turned 13 and i have a lisp...sort of I can say z's and stuff the ONLY thing I cant say is... S! it sonds like 'TH' I dont want therapy because we have to pay for braces for my sister and a wedding in new orleans ( i know i probobly spelt that wrong.. ) anyways.. My parents are kind of short on money so any other tips to get rid of a lisp without therapy I know how to say S but I just have a long tongue and talk really fast so it makes it sound like 'th' so I need help! How can I get rid of a lisp and HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE? Does it help saying 'sssssssss' all day? THANKS! :D

slowly read a book outloud to yourself, and make sure to try to pronounce all the s's!!!! It will probably take some time, but you have to be committed!
