My face is swollen, help?

My daschund is sick with a swollen face, swollen eyelids, and green discharge from his eyes can someone help?

• I have a one year and seven month old daschund. He has edema of both eyelids. There is a golf ball size lump on the right side of his face that is palpable and squishy. On the left side of his face he is also swollen with two smaller lumps. One appears to be a lymph node but I am not sure. His CBCs were taken and he does have elevated WBCs. It came on rapidly. Last Tuesday he went into the vet and got prednisone and clavamox. I have seen no improvement. There is also a green slimy discharge coming from both eyes. The vet has never seen anything like this. They believe he may have masticatory myositis; however, they are not sure. What can I do for my dog? I have been using warm compresses on his face and eyes and he appears to do better after that. Is this something that we can clear up? He is not himself.

  My dog had something similar but I can not say it is the same. He got it after swimming in some water that I now know had much run off from a ski resort, golf course and all the parking lots that come with the hotels and stuff. He had all sorts of swelling face, ears and eyes. There was even discharge from the poresof his swollen ears. The vet tried many things antiobiotics etc... oh and my dog may have had some diarehha and vomiting I can not quite recall. I do not remember what medicine he was on when he got better but I remember that they gave him and IV twice to keep fluids in him. If I can find out what medicine he was taking I will put another reply.
