What kind of lump under skin causes cold pain feeling?
-
I have a lump near my left hip, deep under the skin that has been there for at least 20 years. It has been recently bothering me, feeling like a mild painful cold sensation that's hard to describe. It feels like an intermittent feeling of an ice cube being placed there. The pain is mild. I'm thinking it may be growing and putting pressure on nerves in that location. What might this be? Please provide credentials with your response... (med/pre-med professionals OR people who have had similar problems) Thanks.
