I just swallowed my lip ring... should I induce vomiting?

It was a hoop with spiked balls, but I accidentally lost one of the spikes. I guess it came off and I swallowed it. Should I induce vomiting, call the doctor, or just wait for it to pass through my system?

Call your doctor. Did the lip ring have a tack like thing to hold it in your lip? The reason I'm asking is that you really wouldn't want that ticking in your soft tissue. Ask the doctor. You need a professional opinion.
