What are the causes of loose, liquid stools?
-
My mother since yesterday has been experiencing minor Muscle Aches and a Low-Grade Fever, which has since subsided. However, the additional symptoms she's currently exhibiting are loss of appetite and liquid diarrhea. No nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain. What could be the potential causes for this?

Answer:
It sounds like a flu or stomach virus. It has only been going on a few days, right? If the doctors rule that out then she probably will end up with the diagnosis of IBS(Irritable bowel syndrome). The syndrome is a functional one. The doctors will probably just tell her to eat more fiber & make healthier meal descicions.

Muscle ache and low grade fever might be flu symptoms. Then again it is from my own experience. If fever goes really high like 102 and above maybe ER wouldn't a bad idea!
