Right shoulder pain while breathing in?

I think i bruised my ribs, but now im feeling most of the pain in the back right under my shoulder blade?

  • exactly last tuesday i dropped a bench bar on my chest, and for about 4 days mainly the front of my chest where i dropped the bar had the most pain, primarily only when i breathed in deep, sneezed, coughed or laughed, but just standing around not doing activity i was fine no pain, but in the past few days most of the pain is directly in the same area but on my back exactly under my shoulder blade, im trying to exercise right now but every lift is hurting rigfht below my shoulder blade... what should i do? any suggestion on what it may be? im not in excruiciating pain or anything and am breathing fine, but activity really aggrivates it

  • Answer:

You should have this check. You may not have broken a rib, but you could of fractured it. The nerves to the ribs run right under each rib. Or you could of pulled muscles. Either way, it is best to be safe and go get checked. I would refrain from doing any more that may cause more damage to the area.

I would go get an X ray just in case. You could have damaged something and it might need some helo getting better. Hope this helps!
