How would one go about ridding him/herself of sinus pressure?

Alot of pressure in one ear?

• One morning a couple of days ago, I woke up with slight pressure in one of my ears. I didn't think much of it, but it's gotten worse over the past couple of days. I'm not really sure how to explain it, but in my right ear, I feel ALOT of pressure and tightness. Almost like the feeling you get after you go swimming and have water in your ears. I can hear fairly okay in my right ear, slightly less than the other, but I can hear. I'm thinking it's sinus pressure, but I'd like to have some insight before I go to the doctor for it. So, is it something to worry about? Any tips to relieve it?

  It could be a few things, you're right it is most likely sinus pressure - especially if you've had a cold lately. It could also be a middle ear infection, outer ear infection, build up of ear wax etc. You could try a nasal decongestant to try and clear the nose, however it's good that you are going to see the doctor about it.
