Does an enlarged/swollen lymph node hurt when touched?

Body Hurts and Lymph node hurts?

• Hello, So my girlfriend is having several problems. Her first problem is that she was having her period for about 3 1/2 weeks now, but the doctor told her that the problem was due to her starting birth control. About after the 3rd week of her period her lymph nodes where hurting her alot, the ones under her arms, her back, and by her neck. Now, after another week has passed, her whole body is starting to hurt her when it gets touched. She said she almost fainted in the bathroom the other day. She is also sleeping and tired a lot now. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks you in advance.

  She needs to call her doctor on Monday and report her symptoms. Since she has been bleeding for 3 weeks, she is probably now anemic and that is why she almost fainted. That is also why she is proably tired a lot. The lower her blood counts get, the more tired she will become and the more often she will faint. She needs to dramatically increase her daily water intake which will help with replacing the fluid volume lost from the blood and will raise her blood pressure and hopefully, stop her from fainting again. She needs to be taking some tylenol or motrin regularly for the aching she now has. She needs to be very careful about standing up quickly which will probably cause fainting until she has had about 24 hours of increased water. She needs to rest this weekend and talk with her doctor first thing Monday morning. And, she should look up foods that are high in iron and eat those foods through the weekend which may or may not help a little.
