Why does my lower abdomen feel bruised?

Why do i feel like my head was bruised severely?!?

• Last night around 12am i felt my head had been beat my a bat all over with the after effect of being bruised. The bruised feeling was very severe and was very painful. i asked my bf to check my head and he said my scalp was red! after 30min the pain began to increase, as well as my forehead feeling heavier and my left eyebrow feeling bruised; i could barely open my eyes. I took 2 Advil's and fell asleep with the pain! With this being said, Nov 22 2011 i was in a minor accident with whiplash. (about a month ago) Also i may or may not be anemic? ( I still have to be checked out) But i want an opinion in the mean time that may know what this bruised feeling in the head may be, that is VERY SEVERE!!! THANK YOU

  it could be glands swelling, i can tell you i experience them often, feels like you have been beaten up, skin tightenes from swelling and persisting achs
