What are the progressive symptoms of radiation poisoning?

I have lead poisoning and am having bad symptoms. should I get Chelation Therapy?

  • I was exposed to a toxic chemical almost 10 days ago (lead). I was rushed to the ER and treated for acute lead poisoning. I almost died. I was there 6 hours until they stabalized me, then released me. my test results came back today, which say I have 9 micrograms/dL of lead in my bloodstream. since the initial poisoning, I have been dealing with symptoms of "chronic" lead poisoning (since it is still in my system) I have been told that lead levels of 10 m/dL or lower in adults is considered non-threatening and treatment isn't needed. but the symptoms I have been dealing with the last 10 days are quite serious. arm numbness, chest pains, heart flutters/palpitations, occasional nausea, dizziness.. sometimes I feel so faint, I'm not able to walk for a while I guess these symptoms don't really match the levels of lead in my system. maybe it is because I have other health problems? I've had problems with alcohol abuse, I have been drinking heavily since I was 12 years old. it has made my heart a bit weaker, and I have poor blood circulation, ect. would this make the lead toxicity I have more prominent? more dangerous? should I try to convince my doctor to treat me for the lead toxicity? I don't have medical insurance, and don't have a normal doctor I see. should I go into the ER and try to convince a doctor to give me Chelation Therapy (lead toxicity treatment)? would they treat me if I am uninsured? and if they see how low my lead levels are? someone please give me advice! my symptoms are bad and sometimes I feel extremely ill, and it is putting worry in my mind. I need help

  • Answer:

I'd say because of the alcohol your liver isn't in the best of shape. Your liver is one of the main organs responisble for filtering your blood of toxins, among other vital functions. As far as them giving you the treatment you desire, I can't say. If you are this sick then you need to go to the ER.. Good luck
