My throat glands feel hard and swollen. Is this normal?

I feel a lump on my throat - not typical swolen glands and there is no pain.?

  • There is a significant sized lump on my throat. I don't feel it when I swallow and there is no pain. I can only feel it by running my hand across it. It is at the very top of my throat, directly center. When I have swollen glands they are always off to the side. Is there a gland in the center that this could be? One thing is that for the past few days my mouth has been sore. I sometimes have cankersore breakouts and that is happening now so maybe there is just an infection going on. Any thoughts?

  • Answer:

I would get a dr to check it out. Its always better safe than sorry
