Once Lactose Intolerant always lactose intolerant?
-
Basically I'm trying ask whether or not you are lactose intolerant for life (once you are diagnosed) or if you can miraculously drink things with lactose again over time.
-
Answer:
Not unless you're tolerant as a child, then you might outgrow it over time. Usually once you become lactose intolerant you stay that way. This isn't as bad as it was years ago when the choices were slim. Now there are many things that lactose intolerant people can use from milk to ice cream. Company's have developed these products over the years as more and more people become this way. You can also talk to your doctor and get allot of good ideas too. Good luck and God Bless
