How to get rid of cold?

  • Hoping I have just allergies not a cold but i took a cold medicine case i do have a cold how many hours should i take and what should i eat & drink if i do have a cold? cause if i have cold wanna get rid by friday cause i dont wanna get my friend baby girl sick if i go see them this maybe on saturday

  • Answer:

I get sick a lot so i've looked up things that help. Some things you can eat are citrus fruits like oranges or lemons which help your immune system. Hot sauce clears your sinuses, too. Garlic is helpful, hot tea (preferably with lemon), and soup with chicken broth are good. Lots of sleep, water, dayquil, nyquil, and cough drops pretty much sum it up. And if you get a fever don't take hot showers because it will keep the heat in you longer and makes it harder to get rid of. good luck!

not much you can do, i have one too :(

To get rid of a cold isn't that hard, just get a lot of rest before friday! Don't work as much. Fruit can really help with a cold. Also, make some noodles, go to your stove and make ramon noodles and while they are cooking put your face not directly over the pot but slightly close your eyes and just let the steam get into your pours, it will open them up and also unplug your nose! Hopefully that helped.

This is the first cold you had in your life? Amazing! Take chicken noodle soup. It is amazing. Also rub Vick's vapor rub on chest.

Just try to stay warm eat a lot of Vitamin C, you can't heal a cold. A cold is a rhino virus, keyword virus, which can't be healed with medication. Like I said, just keep yourself warm and get plenty of vitamins, and stay in bed, maybe watch TV or read a book, or take a nap. Just relax and your body while fight the cold. It should be gone by Friday if you follow these tips. Remember, there is NO cure to the common cold, though a lot of people think so. However, if you take your temperature and it's over 100 F, go to the doctor and they can get you some antibiotics. You should see a big change in 4-6 days, it depends. I hope you feel better soon! EDIT: Tea and soup can make the symptoms go down, but it won't make the cold go away.
