How can you tell if a peircing is infected?

I think my industrial is infected . someone help me?

  • Okay so I had my industrial peircing for about 3 months? And it doesnt hurt that much as it use it anymore but when i clean it, puss comes out. Also, I have a 3 bumps. One on each whole peircing execpt the very top one. I had a bump on the top a while ago but it seems to be gone. The bump on the top inner ear hurts, the one the the bottom inner ear doesnt hurt and neither does the bottom back one. I cleaned it just 5 minutes ago and the inner bottom one was bleeding alot. Im scared that its infected but i have.a feeling it is. If it is, please tell me what i could do to fix it because i really wanna leave this peircing.     Infections are easy to spot, but some people mistake the healing process for an infection. if the eare around the piercings are red and raised and sore to the touch, get it looked at. Same goes for any pus (yellow) or bleeding after three months. An industrial is a very thick, traumatic piercing that are difficult to heal due to the angles. make sure that is isn't normal white lymph fluid that is just the piercing healing.. Infections can be dangerous, the best thing to do it clean it thoroughly (but no more than twice a day) until you can go back to the place that pierced you to have a look.
