Where can I get a good but cheap sitting stool that is all natural?

Blood in my stool, help?

  • Okay, so for the past few years I've had blood in my stool. It's usually bright red blood, I don't think I've ever seen any dark blood though. I've noticed blood in my stool probably since I was 15, I'm 19 now. The past year I've seen ALOT of blood in my stool. But, sometimes there will be NO blood for 1 or 2 weeks, then it will come back again. Sometimes when I'm sitting down I get an uncomfortable feeling like maybe its hemmoroids or something. But there is usually lots of blood. What could be causing this?

  • Answer:

for gods sake go and get it checked out. How on earth could you take no action for all this time?? If it's bright red, then usually it is new blood and not too much of a cause for concern....but ANY blood down there has to be checked out anyway. GO TO YOUR DOCTORS!!! He'll have seen it all before, so no need to get embarassed. Trust me....I did just that and it literally saved my life, because in my case - although a lot different from yours - it turned out to be bowel cancer. I've had the op, am just about to start chemo, and should be right as rain in around 6 months. I will stress here though, that you are way too young for that, my blood was also a lot darker than yours - indicating that it was old blood coming from higher up in the bowel - yours is bright red, thus it's new blood. Therefore, you do not really need to worry about anything too sinister....however it still needs checking out. It may be you have a little tear that needs a bit of cream or something which will clear it up....then you no longer have to put up with it. Go and see your doctor, please

I don't believe what I'm reading here. You actually state you had it for more than four years, and you've done nothing about it?? You ought to see a doctor as quickly as possible.

Hi, the first thing you should do is book a doctors appointment and really get this problem checked out. It sounds by what you have described this could be internal hemmoroids an anal fissure , which is a small tear inside, or polyps either of these could result in the bright red blood you have been experiencing. Please don't leave this any longer, four years is a long time for this to be going on. I wish you well

sounds like a hemorrhoid. that is what bright red means

Hemmrhoids at your age is kind of difficult, since its due to constant straining in stools. Alot of people have different quantifications for alot. From experience ive seen a person with a teaspoon of blood call it alot. If its fresh blood means low rectal bleed. If your getting an uncortable feeling plus blood. Could be a prolapse, but why you have it... still due to straining or artifical inserstion. Hemmrhoids also usually are more in the toilet then on the stools, since it squirts out.
