Is, "Bilingual education" a good topic for my persuasive speech?

Eating disorder education(people who have/had an eqating disorder)?

• I have a project in reading class. We have to do a persuasive speech and my topic is "Should there be more education in schools about eating disorders?" I say that I agree because I have had an eating disorder and a lot that I found out was never taught to me in school, like what could happen, how it effects me, and how much pain and hurt I'm causing my body. I wanted to get other people who have had eating disorders opinions to use in my speech. Like if you agree then state why you do, if you were or weren't taught much about it in schools. Or even if you haven't had an eating disorder and agree that we need to be taught more. I don't need a name or anything but I just think it be more helpful to show peoples true experiences with eating disorders and to show how schools need to get more into it so that hopefully less people will go down this road.   I never really had a serious eating disorder but my best friend was really skinny and I always felt fat never to her. Once I decided to starve myself for a week, eating only dinner. That was probably the worst week of my life. A couple of other times, I have made myself vomit up food. I've never really developed an eating disorder but if I'm not careful, I think I could end up with one.
