How do you get rid of a hemorrhoid once and for all?

  • I recently had a baby and had the unfortunate circumstance of getting hemorrhoids because of it apparently. My doctor had prescribed some clear cream but it did NOTHING at all for me. That was a month or two ago and once the tube ran out I stopped doing anything about it. This last week however one I guess burst or something and there was LOTS of bleeding for a couple of days. I talked to my doc again and he said just to get some Preperation H and thats it. He also made it sound like I will ALWAYS have them forever now and all I can do is try to keep them from flaring up kind of. I have heard you can get them cut off in surgery but only if they are causing tons of problems. So what can I do?

A hemorrhoid is really an exposed blood vessel. You would need to have it surgically removed. I believe they can burn it with a laser.

Yes, surgery. I heard they can be "tied off", that sounds painful though. You will always have them, but they can shrink over time. I had a huge one after childbirth 4 years ago and now it doesn't bother me at all and is small enough to stay tucked in and not visible to my hubby. It's as good as nonexistent. Let yourself fully heal and watch your diet and don't strain and hopefully you will see improvement.

Use baby wipes!!!!..I have been using baby wipes for 2 years now and I haven't gotten diarrhea or hemorrhoids since!

Parmanent -ask doctor -temporary-If we have to be healthy ,we have to follow many health rules regarding food, nutrition ,vitamins diet ……….. -following all the rules is very difficult ,may be even impossible. Generally we do mistake about one or the other rule of health. This will naturally lead to some or the other disease. Hence ,when we get a disease, if we find out why we got that disease, which of our mistakes is responsible for that disease ,then ,if we stop that mistake ,that itself will benefit us by reducing the disease, stopping the progress of the disease.
