What is rabies incubation period?

  • i was bitten by a dog about 14 months ago.i had anti rabies shots but missed one.i have heard that rabies incubation period can be as long as 12 years.. am i prone to the disease.??if yes what can i do to help myself ???

    Basically 2 types are used in the USA today. First to de-rabinize high numbers of rabies animals in warm to hot area's ( HDVC ) and secondly ( V-RG ) area's where in 1984 researchers at Wistar Institute where if a an animal accidently ingests it out in the wild, including hawks, birds, and gulls, they will all be found to be harmless.
