I have an infection.

Yeast infection blister?

  • My boyfriend dated a friend of mine before me and they did everything but have sex. Now me and him have been dating 13 months. I got a yeast infection not knowing it i had sex but it was a bit uncomfortable and not really as "wet". when i started feeling symptoms of the yeast infection it hurt when i peed and all that and a few days later i noticed to blisters on the outside of my vagina area. not big at all but i went to my gynecologist and she tested me for herpes and i get results for a week. My friend who dated him before me was his first girl he was sexual with so i talked to her about it and she said she gets tested for it and she doesn't. And he had a physical for his basketball team and was tested and he doesn't either. so what are these blisters? My boyfriend is my first everything so is this doctor just confused with yeast infection blisters. I have like 2 little bumps that came up once i got the yeast infection and i itched and then they appeared. Im only 16 and i need positive answers and something to help me cause im so scared. is it just a bad yeast infection that wasnt treated? cause i never had this till my yeast infection im currently having went yesterday and she tested me and said ill give results in a week but neither my boyfriend has it or my friend (his ex) has it cause they were tested. could it be a yeast infection blister? Me and him are safe and this never happend to us and i have yeast infectiion but she gave medicane for herpes just incase, i shave down there once in a while and he was tested with his dad and he didnt have it so what do i thinkk, ive never gotten a blister till this yeast infection

  • Answer:

I hate to tell you this but there is a chance it is herpes. There is no such thing as yeast infection "blisters".... The only way you would get a blister in the vaginal area are from the following STD's (Syphilis, Herpes, Chancroid, im sure theres more but those are most commonly known). Is it possible one of you has herpes of the mouth and have exchanged oral sex? Or your boyfriend might be omitting some details of his sexual past. Get tested and pray.

That blister might be something totally different ask your doctor to look into it and request a blood test for all possible std's asap.
