How does an STD test work at a free health clinic?

I just have a few general questions - this is NOT a planned parenthood, this is just a regular health department. 1) I am 17. If I tell them that I do not have insurance, will they do it for free? 2) Can I tell them to test me for all STD's, or can I only pick certain ones? 3) How long will it take for the results of the test to come back? 4) Any tips on not being so nervous about it? I'm really really scared, even though I'm not showing any symptoms of any kind. Thanks for any information.

most free-clinics do not run STD checks nor do they take minors(those under 18) your state may be different but the one i worked at these rules were in place, they will give you information on where to go

Call 866-rap-it-up and ask for free STD/HIV testing in your area. Explain to them that your underage and they'll give you a list in which you won't have to pay anything and your parents won't have to know. Good luck and be safe. God bless
