How soon can a doctor see if you have an STD?

I think I might have an STD but don't wan't to see a doctor..Anyone know a good source to diagnose it myself?

I have small red (and some reddish-white pimply looking) bumps all around my genital area. I'm a male, and I think it might be genital warts. Reason I don't want to see a doctor is because I'm in the Navy and 1) I'm extremely embarrassed, and 2) I might get kicked out but I'm not sure so I don't want to risk it.....I have only had sex with one girl (4 time unprotected) and I have not seen any of these bumps on her and we have been together for almost 9 months...Any advice is absolutely extremely appreciated....

You can't get kicked out for an STD. Probably half the forces would have to go home. Go to the doctor and stop trying to ask people on here. We can't tell you.

Sounds like it could be HPV or herpes, but the only way to find out for sure is a doctor...it will only get worse if you don't. I am pretty sure the Navy can't kick you out for having an STD
