Yeast infection or what?

  • About a month after my boyfriend and I had sex I started itching really bad in my vagina a few days later. We had sex about four times each time using a condom. So I was thinking I caught a yeast infection from the latex condom. So I went out and bought monistat 7 and it only seemed to make it worse. Since I've never had a yeast infection I figured that maybe I should go to my gyn and see what the problem was. By happen my period came on that morning so I wasn't sure if he could still test my for yeast. By happen he could and he said he didn't see any signs of bacteria or a yeast infection. I even test for std's even thouhgh I knew that wasn't the case which is negative. He said he would just take a guess and still give me a difflucan pill which didn't help. I'm still itching around my vulva and clitoris really bad. I just don't know what to do. I haven't changed detergent and I've been wearing loose clothing. It got so bad last night that I actually went out and bought dannon's plain yogurt and tried that no success. I I try so hard not to stratch but I can't help it I'm really sore and frustrated. What could it be?

my friend had that happened to her and she went to her gyno and all of the results came out negative like yours; she took medication etc and it didn't make it go away at all. It turned out to be that she was cleaning it too much when she took a shower with the soap. somehow she ended up being allergic to an ingredient in the soap. but what releived her of the itching for awhile was vaseline or baby rash cremes. you might want to try em out.
