Is there any real cure for cold sores?

i was woundering if there were any real cold sore treatments out there? maybe a shot,pill's or maybe even medicine that'll cure it??

Answer:
sadly i don't think so. The virus that causes cold sores hides in your cells once its done its damage, so anything out to get it (like anti-bodies you'd get from a jab) would have no effect on it what so ever.
