How loose should my leg cast be?

How can I shave my extremely dry leg (just out of cast)?

  • Just got my cast off on friday. I've been showering and using lotion but my leg is still extremely dry and scabby (there was a large incision made on my knee in surgery). It is also disgustingly hairy... And I have my first physio appointment tomorrow! I don't know what to do. I feel like if I shave my leg now it may be a little too early and I'll be ripping my skin off. Should I skip shaving and just wear tights tomorrow? Or should I just shave my skin anyway? Will it really matter? The whole skin ripping off thing may just be me being paranoid.

    I would say just leave it unless you plan on wearing some shorts.

I always shave my legs in the shower. That'd probably be the most effective way for dry legs :-) It'll be fine as long as you're careful.
