It started out with this cystic acne?

I am 15 and just started getting bad acne, will it go away?

Ok so I am 15 1/2 and about a month ago I started breaking out. I have always had some acne since I was 12 but not much like 1 pimple a month. Last year it got slightly worse but only like 2 pimples at a time. I havent had my period for 6 months and then I got one again about 2 weeks ago. Could it be from that? But it hasn't got much better. Is this just a phase for a few months or will it continue for years? My brother had acne at 13 like bad acne and it got better by the time he was 17. Also I started my period at 13 1/2 and I have developed really slowly. Everyone else is practically over acne at school so it's embarrassing . Thank you!!!
